Nottingham High School

Serving as the School Library Media Specialist at Nottingham High School put me in charge of my own library program once again. From planning programs to co-teaching information literacy classes, to project managing the redesign of the library, this has been my most ambitious and exciting position yet. On this page is a summary of my achievements from my time at this public school in New Jersey.

$100,000 Library Redesign Project

Understanding the value-add of the school library on student achievement and social-emotional learning, the school district dedicated funds to each of its three high school libraries for environment updates. I wrote and managed the entire renovation over four years, from beginning to end.

Information Literacy Curriculum

I served on a curriculum committee to write new information literacy curriculum for the librarians to deliver to grades 6-12.
