As a component of my graduate studies in Library and Information Science at Syracuse University’s School of Information Studies, I completed 120 hours of student teaching alongside a current, public school librarian. I was fortunate to be able to work with a stellar professional in Northern New Jersey who not only showed me how she runs her high school library media center, but she also gave me ownership over several projects for the library.
